Description: 
A county supervisor is a member of a local government board that helps to provide local legislation, budgeting and more by voting on issues in public meetings.
Qualifications: 
No person shall serve as a County Supervisor who is not "a resident of the District" for a period of not less than thirty days preceding the date of filing nomination papers. Government Code 25041 also states that a county supervisor must "reside in the district during his incumbency".
